The Sudan Project, operating independently but under the umbrella of Jobs4Sudan, was launched to aid Sudanese citizens within Sudan across various sectors. Established in May 2023 in response to the Sudanese conflict, the project focuses on supporting internally displaced Sudanese individuals. Its mission is to provide assistance to those forced to leave their homes, guiding them in job searches and skill enhancement within the country's challenging environment.
This Project recognizes the significance of employment for the well-being and integration of displaced individuals. Amidst the backdrop of armed clashes and subsequent displacement in April 2023, the project emerged to bridge skill gaps and foster professional growth among the affected Sudanese population. Despite the challenges, the Sudan Capacity Building Project remains dedicated to its mission.
A project Operating independently but under the Management of the Jobs4Sudan team, is a beacon of hope for Sudanese individuals who have sought refuge in Egypt amid the ravages of war. Launched in August, this project marks a significant milestone in the endeavor to support those displaced by conflict. Under the umbrella of Project Egypt, the team started working on it on the ground as STASH (Sudan Transition and Support Hub).
This visionary initiative unites a diverse team, comprising both Sudanese national experts within Egypt and international professionals hailing from various corners of the globe. Together, they work tirelessly to create an environment where Sudanese communities can thrive, fostering a sense of belonging and optimism. The core objective of Project Egypt is to facilitate the integration and well-being of Sudanese individuals, enabling them to envisage and work towards building more promising futures for themselves.
All Sudanese nationals currently residing in Egypt are the primary beneficiaries of this endeavor. The initiative is tailored to address the unique needs and challenges faced by this specific group, offering them essential support and opportunities for growth and stability.
